What You Need to Know Before You Apply

What is the purpose of this trial?

The goal of this study is to test the effectiveness of the FANS-EI program in supporting caregiver engagement in caregiver-mediated early interventions for young children with autism. This study also examines caregiver-perceived social support and self-efficacy and FANS-EI implementation outcomes (feasibility, acceptability, appropriateness).

Inclusion Criteria

My caregivers and supporters speak English.
I am currently receiving early intervention services with caregiver coaching.

Timeline for a Trial Participant

Screening

Participants are screened for eligibility to participate in the trial

2-4 weeks

Treatment

Families receive early intervention as usual or FANS-EI plus EI, with supporters receiving text messages three times a week

6 months
Weekly interactions via text messages

Follow-up

Participants are monitored for caregiver engagement, social support, and intervention outcomes

6 months
