Study Summary
This trial is testing a new behavioral treatment for depression and anxiety symptoms in people with traumatic brain injury. The treatment uses principles of behavioral activation and implementation intentions, and participants are randomized to one of three conditions.

- You are able to communicate in English and understand the instructions given to you.You are able to travel independently in the community.You have mild or more severe depression and/or anxiety, but you are not currently having thoughts of hurting yourself.You feel sad and anxious, but not to the point of having thoughts of hurting yourself.You have a history of serious mental illnesses like schizophrenia, schizo-affective disorder, or bipolar disorder.You have a significant cognitive disability that is not caused by a traumatic brain injury or accident. This could be a developmental disability that affects your thinking and understanding.You are currently receiving personal counseling or therapy for emotional issues.
- Group 1: Intention

- Screening: It may take up to 3 Weeks to process to see if you qualify in this trial.
- Treatment: The duration you will receive the treatment varies.
- Follow Ups: You may be asked to continue sharing information regarding the trial for 6 Months after you stop receiving the treatment.
