Study Summary

This trial is evaluating a new ultrasound technique that may provide more information about the stiffness and size of the prostate's internal structures, to improve guidance for a targeted biopsy. The study will use a custom-designed probe and needle guide to produce images of the prostate and provide guidance for up to 4 additional biopsy samples (cores) prior to a standard MR ultrasound fusion biopsy procedure. Participation risks include increased time under anesthesia (to collect additional biopsies) and slight heating of tissue.
