- I am between 13 and 16 years old.You have a high body mass index (BMI) for your age and gender, above the 85th percentile but less than the 99.9th percentile. This criterion only applies to adolescents.My child and I are not taking any prescribed weight loss medications.You or your child have been using unhealthy methods to lose weight, such as purging, for the past 6 months.My psychotropic medication hasn't changed in the last 3 months.I am between 13 and 16 years old.You have a medical or mental health condition that could make it difficult for you to take part in the treatment. This applies to both children and their parents.
- Group 1: Behavioral Weight Loss (BWL) + Emotion Regulation (ER)
- Group 2: Behavioral Weight Loss (BWL)
- No Placebo-Only Group - All patients enrolled in this study will receive some form of active treatment.
- Screening: It may take up to 3 Weeks to process to see if you qualify in this trial.
- Treatment: The duration you will receive the treatment varies.
- Follow Ups: You may be asked to continue sharing information regarding the trial for 6 Months after you stop receiving the treatment.
