- You weigh more than what is considered healthy for your height.You have a known allergy to wheat or gluten.You are overweight with a body mass index (BMI) of 23 or higher.You are taking any supplements that might change how your body processes things.You have been smoking or using tobacco products within the past three months.You are currently taking medicine for long-term conditions like inflammation, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, or steroids.You have been diagnosed with conditions like diabetes, inflammatory disease, atherosclerosis, or other chronic conditions that may affect your body's metabolism.
- Group 1: Native wheat bar
- Group 2: Resistant starch bar
- No Placebo-Only Group - All patients enrolled in this study will receive some form of active treatment.
- Screening: It may take up to 3 Weeks to process to see if you qualify in this trial.
- Treatment: The duration you will receive the treatment varies.
