"This clinical investigation is open to 24 minors aged 10-17 who are experiencing unverified medical issues with a measurable degree of distress. To qualify, children must have been symptomatic for at least three months and live with their participating parent(s) no less than half the time. Eligible applicants will be dealing with ailments such as fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, Lyme disease, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), musculoskeletal pain, headache, abdominal pain and associated digestive disorders, cognitive impairment or other nonspecific symptoms that cannot be linked to any known organic ailment after exhaustive examination."
