- You have trouble with memory or thinking, as shown by a test called the Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MOCA).I am receiving treatment for lung cancer at Duke Cancer Institute.I have been diagnosed with stage IV non-small cell lung cancer.You have a serious mental illness like schizophrenia that is not being treated.You have a high level of distress, scoring more than 3 on a scale of 0 to 10 for how upset you have been feeling in the past week.Doctors think you might live for 4 months or less.I am older than 18 years.
- Group 1: LiveWell: A Dialectical Behavioral Therapy Skills Training Protocol
- No Placebo-Only Group - All patients enrolled in this study will receive some form of active treatment.
- Screening: It may take up to 3 Weeks to process to see if you qualify in this trial.
- Treatment: The duration you will receive the treatment varies.
- Follow Ups: You may be asked to continue sharing information regarding the trial for 6 Months after you stop receiving the treatment.
