Frequently Asked Questions
Are there currently any vacancies for participants in this experiment?
"Per the information available on clinicaltrials.gov, this medical trial is not presently recruiting candidates. The study was initially made public in May 2015 and modified for the last time in October 2022. Although no longer enrolling patients, 587 other trials are actively seeking participants at present."
What goals are the researchers hoping to achieve with this medical experiment?
"The primary purpose of this research project is to measure the alteration in symptom burden resulting from dialysis, which will be evaluated at baseline and 12 weeks after commencement. Secondary objectives involve assessing overall modified symptoms with the Dialysis Symptom Index as well as quality-of-life changes through self-reported EuroQol 5D-5L (EQ5D-5L) data collection and a Visual Analogue Scale, measured again at 26 and 52 weeks post study start."
