Study Summary

This trial will study whether chiropractic adjustments to the neck can help people with colon cancer by improving heart function, quality of life, and reducing pain and tumor markers.

Who is the study for?
This trial is for adults over 18 with advanced colon cancer (stage 3-4) who are under standard medical care. It's not for those with pacemakers, weak bones, cervical spine cancer, recent major injuries or surgeries, uncontrolled psychiatric disorders, ongoing health-related lawsuits, certain heart conditions or on specific psychotropic meds. Pregnant individuals and those without upper neck subluxation during the study are also excluded.Check my eligibility
What is being tested?
The trial tests if chiropractic adjustments can be a feasible treatment for colon cancer patients by looking at recruitment success and how well participants stick to the protocol. Participants will receive twice-weekly high-velocity neck adjustments over six weeks while their nervous system function and other health markers are monitored.See study design
What are the potential side effects?
Potential side effects from HVLA cervical chiropractic adjustments may include temporary discomfort or soreness in the treated area. There could also be risks of injury due to the nature of physical manipulation but these will be closely monitored.
