- You have used illegal drugs that can affect your ability to think clearly in the past year.You weigh too much for the MRI scanner.You are involved in a legal case related to pain.You have implants that are not safe for MRI scans.You have a mental health condition.My cancer is causing me chronic pain.I am waiting for surgery to relieve my pain.I have had muscle or joint pain for at least 12 months.I have had radiation or chemotherapy, or I have cancer that has spread.I suffer from nerve pain or RSD.I have a neurological disorder like epilepsy or have had a stroke.I use opioid medication to manage my pain.
- Group 1: Group Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
- Group 2: Pain Education
- Group 3: Therapeutic Interactive Voice Response
- Group 4: No TIVR
- No Placebo-Only Group - All patients enrolled in this study will receive some form of active treatment.
- Screening: It may take up to 3 Weeks to process to see if you qualify in this trial.
- Treatment: The duration you will receive the treatment varies.
- Follow Ups: You may be asked to continue sharing information regarding the trial for 6 Months after you stop receiving the treatment.
