This trial will test a weight-loss treatment for people with binge-eating disorder, to see if it both reduces bingeing and helps people lose weight.

Who is the study for?
This trial is for individuals who meet the criteria for Binge Eating Disorder with a BMI of 27-50kg/m2. It's not suitable for those pregnant or planning pregnancy, recently losing significant weight, struggling with severe mental health issues, unable to do moderate exercise like walking two blocks, having certain medical conditions or recent changes in medications affecting weight.Check my eligibility
What is being tested?
The study tests a new behavioral therapy aimed at helping people with binge eating disorder lose weight and reduce their binge eating. Participants will either receive Acceptance-Based Behavioral Weight Loss Therapy specifically designed for BED or Standard Behavior Therapy.See study design
