- You have other broken bones or injuries.You have a non-orthopedic injury that prevents the use of GCs.You are pregnant.You have fractures that were not treated with surgery.You have a broken bone that has pierced through the skin.You have a nerve or blood vessel injury before surgery.You are allergic to or cannot take GCs (glucocorticoids).
- Group 1: Glucocorticoid (GC) group
- Group 2: Control (non-GC) group
- No Placebo-Only Group - All patients enrolled in this study will receive some form of active treatment.
