Eligibility Criteria:
This trial includes the following eligibility criteria:- You regularly drink more than 2 alcoholic drinks per day if you're a woman, or more than 3 drinks per day if you're a man.You consider yourself to be overall in good health.You have previously had surgery to remove part of your colon.You have been taking folic acid supplements or multivitamins containing folic acid in the past 4 months.You have a history of diseases that affect your digestive system, such as Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, or celiac disease, or you have had gastrointestinal cancers.You are taking certain medications that can affect the acidity in your stomach or how your body uses folate.

- Group 2: No supplementation
