Study Summary
This trial uses videoconferencing to deliver an evidence-based exercise program, Seated Tai Chi for Arthritis, to adults aging with long-term mobility disabilities. The study will examine the effects of the Tele Tai Chi program on physical activity and social connectedness for adults aging with long-term mobility disabilities, a population likely to experience barriers to exercise participation.

- You cannot move easily for the past 10 years.You cannot see or hear.You are able to speak and understand English in a casual conversation.You have been practicing Tai Chi regularly within the last 6 months.
- Group 1: Tele Tai Chi
- No Placebo-Only Group - All patients enrolled in this study will receive some form of active treatment.
- Screening: It may take up to 3 Weeks to process to see if you qualify in this trial.
- Treatment: The duration you will receive the treatment varies.

"This investigation's main outcome to be tracked at Baseline, Post-Intervention (8 week assessment), and 1 month follow up is Physical Activity. Secondary measures include Falls Efficacy (confidence in being able to engage activities without falling; 10-100 score with 70+ indicating fear of falling), Pain Interference (4-20 score; higher meaning more interference from pain), and Exercise Self-Efficacy (10 - 40 score; lower signifying less confidence)."

"This clinical investigation seeks to enroll 60 seniors, aged between sixty and eighty, who are living with age-related conditions. Additionally, the following criteria must be met: self-identification of a mobility hindrance; utilization of an assistive device (e.g., crutches or wheelchair); satisfactory performance on Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire (PARQ) or letter from doctor confirming eligibility; passing score on Telephone Interview for Cognitive Status (TICS)-score 26 and above included; access to webcam on computer/tablet; reliable internet connection for six months since screening began; pre-existing mobility disability for at least 10 years;"
