- You have movement symptoms while resting that might make it difficult, uncomfortable, or unsafe for you to have an MRI.You have serious brain or nerve conditions like diseases that cause brain cells to die, stroke, problems with movement, or epilepsy.You have had active inflammation or autoimmune disorders in the past 6 months.You have been diagnosed with a mental illness like schizophrenia or have been actively using drugs or alcohol in the past 6 months.You have significant neurological disorders like diseases that affect the brain or nervous system, such as Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, or epilepsy.You have significant neurological disorders like diseases that affect the brain, movement, or seizures.You have been diagnosed with mental health conditions like psychosis or bipolar disorder, or have been actively using drugs or alcohol in the past 6 months.You are currently having thoughts about hurting yourself or ending your life.You are currently having thoughts about hurting yourself or ending your life.You have had any active inflammatory or autoimmune disorders in the last 6 months.You have had a head injury where you lost consciousness or had memory loss for more than a few seconds.You have a condition that makes it unsafe for you to have an MRI scan.You have a serious medical condition.Anyone with fibromuscular dysplasia (FMD) can participate.You are currently taking medications for depression or seizures.You have had active inflammatory or autoimmune disorders in the past 6 months.This is a list of things that make someone eligible to participate in the study if they have PNES (psychogenic non-epileptic seizures).You have a medical condition that makes it unsafe for you to have an MRI scan.You have been taking certain antidepressant or antiepileptic medications within the past two weeks.These are general criteria that apply to patients with psychogenic non-epileptic seizures (PNES):You have been diagnosed with schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, bipolar disorder, or major depression with psychosis in the past.You have a history of mental illnesses like psychosis or bipolar disorder, or have been actively using drugs or alcohol in the past 6 months.You have been diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).You have a history of certain mental health conditions like schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, or major depression with psychotic features.You have used drugs or alcohol heavily in the past 6 months.You have a serious medical condition.You currently have post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
- Group 1: fMRI study
- No Placebo-Only Group - All patients enrolled in this study will receive some form of active treatment.
- Screening: It may take up to 3 Weeks to process to see if you qualify in this trial.
- Treatment: The duration you will receive the treatment varies.
- Follow Ups: You may be asked to continue sharing information regarding the trial for 6 Months after you stop receiving the treatment.

Patients must meet the following requirements: Be of legal age, have a neurologist confirm their clinical definite FMD using Fahn and Williams criteria, and possess a diagnosis for PNES based on 24 hour video-EEG recording without concurrent EEG changes that is certified by a neurologist."
