What is Cleocin T

ClindamycinThe Generic name of this drug
Treatment SummaryClindamycin is an antibiotic used to treat serious infections caused by susceptible microorganisms. It is also used to treat acne. Clindamycin works against bacteria, gram-positive cocci, bacilli, and gram-negative bacilli, as well as some protozoans. Clindamycin is a semi-synthetic form of the antibiotic lincomycin, which was first discovered in a soil sample from Lincoln, Nebraska. Clindamycin has largely replaced lincomycin due to its improved properties.

Effectiveness

How Cleocin T Affects PatientsClindamycin is an antibiotic used to stop the growth of bacteria. It needs to be taken every six hours to be effective, and can cause a serious condition called Clostridium difficile associated diarrhea (CDAD) if taken for too long. CDAD may show up two months after taking clindamycin and can range from mild diarrhea to fatal colitis. Clindamycin works against both gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, but can become less effective over time due to resistance. It should only be used to treat serious infections and it is best to consult with a doctor or local antibiogram to
How Cleocin T works in the bodyClindamycin works to inhibit bacterial protein production by blocking the ribosomes in bacteria. This is done by having a structure similar to the building blocks of proteins, which stops them from being put together. It is thought that this is also how clindamycin works to treat acne vulgaris, by targeting the bacteria associated with acne.

When to interrupt dosage

The encouraged dosage of Cleocin T is contingent upon the diagnosed condition, for example viridans group streptococci, Vaginal Infections and Surgical Intervention. The amount of dosage ranges, depending on the delivery technique (e.g. Cream - Vaginal or Suspension - Topical) outlined in the table beneath.

No overdoses have been reported yet, but symptoms are expected to be similar to the side effects of the drug, such as stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. In one case, a 3-year-old child was given a daily dose of 100 mg/kg for 5 days and only had mild abdominal pain and diarrhea. Activated charcoal can be used to remove the unabsorbed drug, but hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis are not effective. In cases of overdose

Cleocin T for Acne
I've tried every acne medication out there, and none of them have worked as well as this one. After just two days, my acne is already clearing up. I hope it keeps working like this!

Folliculitis is no match for this medication! I was really pleased with how well it worked and that it's topical instead of systemic.

Cleocin T for Acne Rosacea
This product has definitely helped me with my acne. As soon as I run out, however, it unfortunately begins to worsen again. BUT, what I like is that unlike some other products, it works even after the break in use. It also doesn't take as long to begin clearing your acne up. I really love this product and have been asking doctors for it by name. If it stops working, then I'll ask for recommendations. But for now, nothing else for me thanks!

Cleocin T for Acne
I've been taking this medication for a little while now, and it seems to be helping. My doctor also prescribed me Differin gel, so I'm using that as well. So far so good!
