Our Social Workers work as a member of the multi-disciplinary team and will provide comprehensive services to children, adolescent and adults within mental health and addictions who fit within the established target population. Services may also include the provision of group treatment approaches and client, family and community education about mental health and addictions. Our various opportunities include child and adolescent, adult, community mental health, outreach, intake and other specialties within our Mental Health and Addictions teams. Mental Health and Addictions is actively seeking Masters Social Workers for services in Eastern, Northern and Western Zones, click on a zone to find out more about living and working in a particular area.

About You:

We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

  • Master's degree in Social Work
  • Must be licensed with the Nova Scotia Association of Social Workers (NSASW) or eligible to be licensed
  • Two (2) years clinical experience required
    • If not available, candidates with less experience will be considered on a Developmental Scale
  • Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred
