What you will do
Johnson Controls invites you to apply for a position in our internship program with the Forensic Investigations Team, based at JCI Global Corporate Headquarters in Glendale, WI. Our internship program is designed to provide you with a positive work/training experience and challenging objectives that are consistent with your career goals and current level of education.

This role will be part of our Forensic Investigations team within Internal Audit. As part of your internship, you will gain experience with internal corporate investigations including planning, gathering evidence, document/email review, fact-finding and admission-seeking interviews, data analysis, work paper documentation, and report writing. Internship will start in the Spring of 2020 and continue through the Summer of 2020. The hours will be approximately 40 hours per week and there maybe occasional travel required.

How you will do it
Assist in project planning activities, including gathering, reviewing and interpreting data, interviewing key stakeholders to determine scope of investigation procedures
Assist in performing investigative procedures, including gathering evidence, conducting background research, and building profiles, analyzing and interpreting various types of data, conducting and documenting interviews, creating work papers, and drafting investigation reports
Assist in documentation of findings, and drafting of final report / deliverables
Assist in performing other tasks such as assisting with internal updates and presentations, attending team meetings, updates, and events, and perform other duties/projects as assigned

Note: Qualified applicants will need to be attending school and planning to graduate in 2020 or 2021.
What we look for
Currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited U.S. college or university
Currently pursuing an undergraduate (junior standing) or Master's degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Management Information Systems, or IT
Available to work 40 hours per week starting in the Spring of 2020
Strong communication and organization skills
Basic understanding of financial statements
U.S. Citizen or legal right to work in the U.S.
