This trial studies the effects of LUM-201, an oral medicine, in children with growth hormone deficiency who have already been treated with growth hormone therapy. The medicine helps their bodies produce more growth hormone to aid in their growth.
This trial is testing a new weekly growth hormone medicine, somapacitan, in children who lack enough growth hormone. The goal is to see if somapacitan works well and is safe. The study will last several years with regular clinic visits. Somapacitan is intended for once weekly administration for treatment of both adults and children with growth hormone deficiency.
This is a phase 3 open-label multicenter extension study designed to evaluate the long-term safety and efficacy of Lonapegsomatropin administered once-weekly. The study participants are adults (males and females) with confirmed growth hormone deficiency (GHD) having completed the treatment period in study TCH-306 (foresiGHt).
