Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Depression

This trial is comparing two different treatments for Major Depressive Disorder: cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and CBT-Skill Enhanced (CBT-SE). CBT is well-studied and research-supported, while CBT-SE focuses more on helping clients develop the skills of CBT. The study will enroll 150 participants who will be randomly assigned to one of the two conditions. Treatment will last 12 weeks with a 6 month follow-up period.
