Peanut Protein Powder for Surgery

This trial will test if taking peanut protein powder helps older adults who are having knee replacement surgery. The goal is to see if it can prevent muscle loss and weakness after the operation. Patients will take the protein daily starting before surgery and continuing for several weeks after. Peanut protein supplementation has been studied for its potential to enhance muscle and strength adaptations in both younger and older adults.
