This trial is testing whether adding a testosterone gel to an exercise program helps older women recover better from hip fractures. It targets women aged 65 and older who have had a hip fracture. The testosterone gel is expected to boost muscle growth and strength, making the exercise program more effective. Testosterone has been found to be an effective and safe therapy for elderly women with chronic heart failure.
