SSRF Trial Summary

This trial will compare the outcomes of two different treatments for adults with rib fractures. One group will receive usual care, while the other group will receive usual care plus early surgical stabilization. The trial will also evaluate how different subgroups of patients respond to the two treatments and what effect multiple rib fractures have on patients' post-discharge health and ability to return to work or usual physical activity.
